This tubular-enclosed block is safe from inclement weather, and houses shops that address a myriad of needs. You can find everything from aspirin to a snack, you can even surf the Internet for free (if you scheduled the time). A 10-minute jaunt will bring you to Rua das Flores, one of Curitiba's oldest pedestrian-only areas. This street holds a colorful mix of flower vendors, restaurants, and street performers busking for change. (You can toss a musician a few coins before stepping into a cafe for your own meal.)
After a day walking around the city, you might enjoy staying in for dinner. Gail restaurant dishes up pleasing savory plates to satiate your appetite. And you can sip a pre-meal cocktail in the bar area. (Mornings, the eatery also serves breakfast.) If you want to work out, you can take advantage of the free access to a nearby gym. Guests who drive will appreciate the valet parking (surcharge). Limited self parking (surcharge) is also available.
When you're settled in for the night, you can crack open the minibar for a nightcap. Hungry? Call room service (available limited hours) for a snack to go with your drink.
